A few tips on how to get started using the video for prospecting purposes.
The sharing feature located on the video player provides you with several options for circulating our video:
Copy & Paste: Your first sharing option is a good old fashion link. Copy and paste this link directly into social media or client emails and play it directly from our vimeo channel.
Social sharing: You can share directly to your social channels with a pre-populated post by clicking the provided icons.
Email it: Enter a name and email address and send directly to a client or prospect through the site.
Embed it: Looking for more flexibility? Use the provided embed code on your website or landing pages to place the video in a location that is most convenient for you.
Upload the video to a hosting site: If you already have an active video hosting or sharing service like YouTube, vimeo, or Wistia, feel free to download the video from our site and upload it to your channel. This will provide you with even more options for customization (i.e. add your logo or color palette to the player or add custom end screens with a call to action (if your hosting service provides it).
Don’t have a video hosting service but think you might want one?
There are a lot of great video hosting services available. Everyone’s heard of YouTube but there are many others worth investigating. Some are free, some have a monthly fee, but either way you should do your homework to find an option that works best for your practice before making a commitment.
If you are looking for a place to start, a great free service for advisors without a ton of video content is Wistia. It provides easy to use customization options including end screens and branding. The paid version of the service provides additional features in case you are looking for more functionality or plan on expanding your video library.
