Position Overview:

The Sales Associate Manager at RightCapital is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, and mentoring new and developing Sales Associates who assist financial advisors in adopting and using RightCapital's financial planning software. This role ensures that Sales Associates are confident in explaining RightCapital's value, navigating the platform, and supporting advisors throughout the sales process.

You’ll work closely with the Sales leadership team, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Product to build a high-performing, advisor-focused sales organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Partner with Sales leadership and People/HR to define hiring needs and ideal profiles for Sales Associates

  • Conduct interviews focused on sales skills, coachability, and cultural fit

  • Set clear expectations and ramp-up goals for new hires (activity metrics, demo competency, pipeline contribution)

Sales & Data Support

  • Offer assistance to Revenue Operations, maintaining a clean CRM

  • Ensure Sales Associates are adhering to policies on data hygiene

  • Maintain and update paybooks and knowledge cards

Training & Development

  • Build, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that inspire Sales Associates to excel, including:

  • Sales messaging, talk tracks, objection handling, and competitive positioning

  • Hands-on workflow training for CRM, lead management, and sales enablement tools

  • Compliance, data security, and RightCapital processes

  • Lead Pipeline Review Sessions through call reviews, role-plays, and scenario-based coaching

  • Serve as the primary mentor and day-to-day resource for Sales Associates

  • Support associates in setting individual development goals aligned with both company sales objectives and their career paths

  • Drive updates to sales processes, playbooks, and CRM workflows based on what you learn from the team

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales experience with a track record of attaining personal goals

  • 2+ years of management experience

  • Demonstrated success in a sales or sales support role (SDR/BDR, Sales Associate, or similar)

  • Strong grasp of the sales funnel and typical SaaS sales motion

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and active listening skills

  • Ability to simplify complex financial planning and software concepts for diverse audiences

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in creating training materials and documentation

  • Comfortable working with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar), sales engagement/enablement tools, and online meeting platforms (Zoom, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or financial services (especially with financial advisors, RIAs, or broker-dealers)

  • Proven track record of mentoring, coaching, or leading team members

  • Experience with sales operations, revenue enablement, or training program design

  • Familiarity with financial planning concepts or advisor workflows

  • Sales or industry certifications (e.g., Certified Financial Planner knowledge, sales methodology training)

Benefits:

  • Salary + Commission

  • Overall Target Compensation: $95,000-$110,000
