We're seeking an AI executive to join our leadership team and lead the AI function. With a strong commitment to harnessing the power of artificial intelligence, the AI Vice President will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of AI initiatives across the organization, identifying opportunities for innovation, and developing cutting-edge AI solutions that drive business growth.

In this role, you’ll be leading the development, innovation, and implementation of AI tactics and strategies. You will lead and drive many AI projects as well as become a resource to help other functional areas to create, refine, and improve their own AI processes. This role will be part of the company’s executive team, reporting directly to our CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive innovation by exploring emerging AI technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the business.
Drive the effort to research, develop, and implement selected AI projects.
Collaborate with functional teams to identify AI opportunities across various teams. Become a resource to functional areas, help functional areas build the solution customized solutions to address specific challenges
Establish partnerships with external AI vendors, research institutions, and startups to leverage external expertise and accelerate innovation
Oversee the development and deployment of AI models and algorithms, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, reliability, and scalability
Stay abreast of AI research advancements, industry best practices, and regulatory developments to ensure all AI initiatives remain at the forefront of innovation and compliance
Build and grow a high-performing team of AI experts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster a culture of innovation and excellence

Qualifications:

10+ years of financial services experience. Experience of working with financial advisors is a plus.
Experience in AI innovation and implementation in a SaaS, fast-paced, hyper-growth startup environment is a huge plus.
Advanced degree in Math, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, or a related field
Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
