What planning services do you provide?

Our firm provides both financial coaching services where we work with clients on their savings, budget and credit strategy, and comprehensive financial planning services where we'll also thoroughly review all other areas of our clients' financial lives.

Who is your target audience/what types of clients do you like to work with?

Our target audience is young women and men, typically ages 22-42. We love to work with clients who haven't been able to access services from the traditional financial world; everyone deserves financial freedom.

What does your typical client walk through look like?

We have built out a comprehensive process where we guide our clients step-by-step through the financial planning stages. We start by onboarding them in RightCapital, which includes linking their accounts and entering their data. Then we begin working on the budget and conduct a goals and values analysis. Finally, we move through each planning topic within a separate meeting, typically one meeting every 3-4 weeks over the course of 8-12 months.

How does RightCapital financial planning software help your practice?

RightCapital allows us to access our clients' data in one secure location. We use it to generate our plans and keep our clients up-to-date on their spending and saving. If I need to illustrate a scenario to a client I also like to model it out with them using the software.

Do you have specific success stories in regards to RightCapital?

Yes, I actually converted a client by showing him the system. He was impressed by the amount of access he had to all his data and it won me his business!

Are there any tools or exercises that your clients find most useful?

Linking accounts and reviewing the transactions is an eye-opening exercise for most of our clients. It's easy to spend a little here, a little there and not realize how quickly it all adds up. We also love the early debt repayment model. It's a fun illustration to show our clients how their discipline will pay off in the form of reduced interest.
