Come Be an Integral Part of Our Sales Process
Every great financial plan starts with a single conversation. So does every great sales career.
At RightCapital, our SDRs are the first person a financial advisor talks to on their journey to running a better practice. You're not just "setting appointments" — you're opening the door to software that thousands of advisors rank #1 in the industry. You're the front end of our revenue engine, and you'll have a team, a process, and a coaching system built to help you succeed from day one.
If you're motivated, coachable, and genuinely interested in building a career in sales, keep reading. This is a seat designed to set you up to win — not to figure it out on your own.
As an SDR, you own the top of the funnel and turn curiosity into qualified opportunity:
· Run a thoughtful outbound process — connect with financial advisors by phone and email using sharp, personalized outreach that earns the meeting. We'll give you the playbooks, templates, and messaging to start strong.
· Book quality demos — schedule sales demonstrations for our Sales Associates and hand off well-qualified opportunities.
· Own your pipeline — manage a balanced mix of warm marketing leads and outbound prospects in Salesforce, keeping everything clean and current.
· Make the team smarter — collaborate with the SDR team to sharpen our playbooks and strategy.
· Keep getting better — bring insights back from the field, test new messaging, and treat every "no" as a step toward the next "yes."
How we set you up to succeed
We don't hand you a phone and wish you luck. New SDRs go through a structured onboarding and ramp program built to give you the product knowledge, industry context, and sales skills you need to do this well:
· A defined ramp period— with clear milestones, so you always know what "good" looks like and where you stand.
· Ongoing coaching — regular 1:1s, call reviews, and feedback from your manager and peers.
· A proven playbook — messaging, talk tracks, and process that works, so you're building on what's already succeeding (and helping us improve it).
· A modern sales tech stack — (Salesforce, Salesloft, and more) backed by strong marketing support and a steady flow of cold and warm leads.
· Learn from the best — work alongside a seasoned team of sales experts, trainers, and managers with deep industry experience
What success looks like
We believe in clear targets and transparent scoreboards, so you always know how you're doing. These are the expectations for a fully-ramped SDR (you'll build up to them during your ramp, not on week one):
· 25 demos completed per month (20 minimum).
· High-activity environment — thrive in a fast-paced role built on consistent, high-volume calling and emailing
These aren't hoops to jump through — they're the habits we see in our top performers, and we give you the coaching, tools, and team to reach them. As you ramp, we'll set interim goals together so the targets feel achievable, not overwhelming.
Your career starts here - and it can climb fast
The SDR seat at RightCapital is a launchpad. We promote from within, and your growth is part of the plan — backed by a defined promotion path with transparent criteria, so there's no guessing about what gets you to the next level. This role can be a meaningful first step into a long-term career at RightCapital. In the past two years, 6 of 7 Sales Associate openings were filled by internal candidates, with many promotions coming from the Sales Development team. SDRs have also moved into other growing teams across the organization, reflecting our strong focus on internal mobility and career development.
You'll thrive here if you...
· Are driven and consistent — you show up, put in focused effort, and see every conversation as a chance to improve.
· Are competitive and coachable — you care about results and you welcome feedback that helps you get there.
· Communicate with confidence — clear and compelling on the phone and in writing.
· Stay organized — you keep a busy pipeline clean and current.
· Are genuinely curious — about sales, technology, finance, and how great software changes people's lives.
